A staggering 49% of us have hay fever!

Current estimates show that almost half the UK population are affected by hay fever, almost double the number previously thought. A new study by Allergy UK in partnership with Kleenex reveals 49% of the UK population suffer from hay fever. One of the best ways to help sufferers is to create a trap for the pollen that’s causing the symptoms in the first place. HayMax has been designed to do just that with the added bonus of being non-drowsy and drug-free.

Common hay fever symptoms include sneezing, a runny nose, a stuffed up nose, itchy and watery or streaming eyes, nasal congestion and a general stuffed up feeling in the nose and throat. Some sufferers also experience itching around the face and mouth including an itchy mouth, itchy roof of mouth, and a burning sensation in the throat. Headaches and wheezing can also occur.

Most hay fever products work by trying to deal with these symptoms. HayMax organic drug-free allergen barrier balms are different. They seek to stop the cause of the problem – namely too much pollen in the body – from occurring. This helps prevent symptoms completely or helps reduce the severity of symptoms by reducing the pollen load. Prevention rather than cure – since there is no cure for hay fever.

HayMax has solid science behind it. Independent university studies have shown that HayMax traps significantly more pollen than an uncoated nostril, and traps all types of grass and tree pollen and that HayMax traps over a third of pollen before it enters the body, in addition to dust mite allergens and pet dander. In an independent survey by Allergy UK, the leading national charity providing support, advice and information for those living with allergic disease, 80% of people say HayMax works. And 94% of people find HayMax quick to be effective; 44% said that it worked immediately and a further 35% said that it worked within an hour or two.

With over 50 awards, glamorous Hollyoaks actress, Nadine Mulkerrin posting about HayMax on Instagram, doctors in the media regularly talking about it, and two Olympic athletes using it, it’s hardly surprising that people are hailing it their ‘lifesaver’.

There are five varieties of HayMax: Pure, Lavender, Aloe Vera, Frankincense and Kids. All of them are organic, drug-free and non-drowsy which means they’re suitable for children as well as pregnant and breast-feeding mums. They can also be used whilst driving, operating machinery, for exams and sports.

HayMax has attained The Allergy Friendly Product Award from leading national patient charity Allergy UK, awarded to products that are potentially of benefit to people affected by allergy, asthma, or sensitivity and are unlikely to cause a reaction. It is 100% natural, certified organic by the Soil Association and carries the Vegetarian Society Approved vegetarian trademark.
