Mariana Roldão Santos

Mariana Roldão Santos works for the Access to Medicine Foundation, where supports the work of the Executive Director and Deputy Director of Strategy, conducting research and providing advice on how to enhance the impact of the Foundation. Mariana is a pharmacist, holding a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Law, both from the University of Coimbra. She has also completed a Postgraduate Programme on Pharmaceutical Industry Management from the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. Besides her scientific and regulatory background, she also brings a strong expertise in European and International affairs, joining the Foundation after three years with the European Medicines Agency, initially in the Chief Policy Adviser Division and later in International Affairs Department.
